ANNOUNCEMENTS & ADVICE
As you know, time is about up to make your final college decision and submit your deposit. What happens next, for some students, is regret.
What if you made the wrong decision? What if it's a bad fit? What if you change your mind over the summer? What if, what if?
Well, if you haven't already done so, now is the time to visit your college choice - before you start. I know, it can be costly, but not as costly as starting over after a semester (or year).
A great many students never visit the college they commit to. But it doesn't matter how great it looks on paper, or how your parents loved it when they were there, or how emotionally attached you are... YOU CANNOT KNOW A PLACE UNTIL YOU'VE BEEN THERE.
Some students think they can't visit once they've been admitted. That's not true. Schools are more than happy to show off their campuses, no matter where you are in the process.
Some students don't think a visit will influence their decision. That's not true. Overall vibe is an important factor in your happiness at a school.
Please, if you haven't made the trip to your school of choice yet, go do it. You won't regret it. But you just might regret it if you don't.
